Welcome at the Professorship for Digital Services and Sustainability (DSS)!
Due to the continuing spread of the corona virus, restrictions continue to occur. Our offices are currently not fully occupied and visits are not possible. Communication exclusively takes place via e-mail. Further information on lectures and events of the chair are noted on the respective pages in the LSF.
The world is facing fundamental economic and societal changes due to the rapid development of digital technologies, global networks, the diffusion of mobile devices, and the accumulation of large amounts of data.
Professor Kranz and his team at DSS are striving to find answers to the various questions for information systems research that arise from the digital transformation at the interface between technologies, management and organization.
Our goal is to understand the disruptive and transformative effects of digital technologies on the economy and the society. We employ empirical- quantitative methods to understand these effects and the factors that drive success to ultimately apply this knowledge to design technology and applications for economic and societal benefits. On this website, you find current information on teaching, research projects and publications.
