Welcome at the Professorship for Digital Services and Sustainability (DSS)!
The world is facing fundamental economic and societal changes due to the rapid development of digital technologies, global networks, the diffusion of mobile devices, and the accumulation of large amounts of data.
Professor Kranz and his team at DSS are striving to find answers to the various questions for information systems research that arise from the digital transformation at the interface between technologies, management and organization.
Our goal is to understand the disruptive and transformative effects of digital technologies on the economy and the society. We employ empirical- quantitative methods to understand these effects and the factors that drive success to ultimately apply this knowledge to design technology and applications for economic and societal benefits. On this website, you find current information on teaching, research projects and publications.
